Objective:By studying the relationship of three tumor markers (HE4, HMGB1and CA125), the diagnosis in early phase of ovarian carcinoma and the clinical pathological features, we can explore the significance of the three above in epithelial ovarian carcinoma diagnosis. Methods:The study covers150hospitalized patients for ovarian tumor, who are divided into32patients with,79patients with benign ovarian tumors and39patients with chocolate cyst. Their serum levels of HE4, HMGB1and CA125will be detected,45healthy people will also be detected as healthy testing group. Adopting the SPSS16.0software to process data and making the ROC curve.Results:1. The serum levels of HE4(198pmol/l), HMGB1(220.25ug/ml) and CA125(250.5U/ml) in ovarian carcinoma group are obviously higher than them in healthy testing group, benign ovarian tumors group and ovarian chocolate cyst group. There is an higher specificity of HE4(98.5%) than CA125(75.3%) and sensitivity (76.7%) of HE4than CA125(61.5%), the serum HMGB1is comparatively high of sensitivity (78.2%) and low of specificity (61.5%). Sensitivity is about95and specificity near100when detecting makers together.2. There is no obvious difference of HE4and HMGB1levels but CA125level of healthy women before-and-after menopause and benign ovarian tumors patients. For the epithelial ovarian carcinoma patients, post-menopausal levels of HE4, HMGB1and CA125are all higher than pre-menopause. Ovarian chocolate cyst group gets no gatherings of post menopausal cases.3. The serum level of HE4(464.5pmol/1) and CA125(548.5u/ml) of ovarian serous bladder adenocarcinoma are the highest. Difference of Serum HMGB1level has no statistics significance in kinds of pathological types of ovarian carcinoma. Later period ovarian carcinoma (including Ⅲ and Ⅳ phase) has a higher serum level of HE4(264.4pmol/l), HMGB1245.2u/ml) and CA125(353.6u/ml) than early period (including Ⅰ and Ⅱ phase) serum level of HE4(94.8pmol/1), HMGB1(172.8ug/ml) and CA125(86.5u/ml). AUC coverage area in ROC curve is larger when detected together than individual.Conclusion:1. It has a more accurate guiding effect on early period diagnosis of epithelial ovarian carcinoma by combining HE4, HMGB1and CA125to be detected.2. It has an important influence on distinguishing ovarian uterus membrane misplacement and ovarian malignant rumors by combining HE4, HMGB1and CA125to be detected.3. The level of HE4, HMGB1and CA125can be used as an index in assessing the illness state of ovarian carcinoma patients, judging and evaluating conditions of it.
