Objective:To examine the expression of HMGA2(high mobility group A2),CA125(carbohydrate antigen 125)and HE4(human ePididymis secretory Protein 4)in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, and to explore the potential value of diagnosis in ovarian epithelial carcinoma. Methods:All patients were consecutively recruited from the Department of Gynaecolog-ical Oncology of Gan Zhou Hospital during 2016 ~ 2017.Patients with epithelial ovarian cancer were assigned to the study group, patients with benign ovarian tumors to the observation group, and healthy checkups to the control group. The expression of serum HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 in these groups were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, and the correlation between serum HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 levels was analyzed.Results:1.The expression of HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 in the research group is significantly up-regulated when compared to that of observation group and control group(P < 0.05).While compared with observation group, the differences of the control group were not statistically significant(P>0.05);2.Measurement of serum HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 in ovarian epithelial carcinoma with Different Pathological Types showed that serum CA125 and HE4 levels in ovarian serous and mucinous carcinomas are statistically higherthan those in ovarian endometrioid carcinomas(P < 0.05);Serum HE4 levels in ovarian serous and mucinous carcinomas are statistically different from those in ovarian endometrioid carcinomas(P < 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between serum HMGA2 level of ovarian serous carcinoma and mucous carcinoma(P > 0.05).3.We found that the serum levels of HMGA2,CA125,and HE4 in the study group increased with the stage of surgery, which with ascites and lymph node metastasis were significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);The onset age of patients was related to serum HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 levels. These markers of the group over 50-year-old were statistical higher thanthe group with the onset age under 50-years(P < 0.05).This shows that serum HMGA2,CA125,HE4 levels and ovarian epithelial cancer progression are closely related. The three are of great significance in the early diagnosis and monitoring of epithelial ovarian cancer.4.The positive detection rate of serum HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 in the study group was significantly higher than that in the observation group and the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in serum HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 positive detection rate of the patients in the observation group, and no statistical significance(P > 0.05).5.Serum HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 separate detection diagnosis coincidence rate was 61%,81,88%,specificity of 58%,78%,84% respectively, the sensitivity of64%,84%,88% respectively, the combined detection of the diagnosis coincidence rate of 92%,specificity of 92%,the sensitivity was 96%.The diagnostic accuracy, specificity, and sensitivity of the combined tests were higher than those of the three alone. The differences were statistically significant.(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The expression of serum HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 was closely related to the pathological type and development of the patients with ovarian epithelial carcinoma.2.The combined detection of serum HMGA2,CA125 and HE4 is complementary, which is of great clinical significance to reduce the misdiagnosis rate and improve the early diagnosis rate of patients with ovarian carcinoma.
