The theory of "Nine Body constitutions of Chinese" by prof WangQi was introduced in1978. Nine physique types:Balanced, Qi Deficient, Yang deficient, Yin deficient, Phlegm damp, dampheat,Qi Stasis, Blood Stasis and special inherited body constitutions. Thru a TCM based observation system (CCMQ) to determine one’s physique and mental status prior to physician’s diagnosis or treatments. CCMQ narrow down elements that may cause ambiguities from patients and symptoms. Result of CCMQ can be used to avoid diagnostic errors as well as future gadget for disease prevention. The purpose of this study use English CCMQ forms to conduct an Epidemiology study on internet populations. English CCMQ is relatively new for Englishspeaking populations and Traditional CCMQ/SF-36forms requires a face-to-face engagement to observe patients’ symptoms. Reflect on this basis, this study we’ve adopted a human-machine approach focus on niche groups such as TCM, acupuncture, alternative therapies and related groups.Study target are English speakers/groups on internet, and introduce links to others via Social medias. Study contents includes elements of SF-36(Social, physical and metal status) and CCMQ. According to242samples of gathered, statistical regression report was made via Anova approach. Result shows majority population are unfamiliar to TCM logic and treatments. Numbers on replies and feedbacks on surveys are small via traditional internet websites, but groups on Facebook gives promising results. From observation, we’ve learned Social media networks is far more effective on spreading concepts in comparison to websites. Level of translations, complexity of the quiz in survey, level of education of the participant on the survey, and duplication on questions in SF-36/CCMQ all takes an important influence on the number of study’s gathering.Traditional TCM surveys requirestrained and experiencedindividuals to achieve, which tend to be a slow and expensive process. But due to the nature of Social media, exposing/conducting of this study is an continuous activity in comparison to traditional approach. From survey, we’ve discovered that social status (Education, sex, marital status and professionals) do influence on females than males. Females also influence more on body pains than males on physical categories.
