Expansion for atlantoaxial dislocation in the treatment of patients with treatment guided by the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, to provide a foundation for Integrative Medicine atlantoaxial dislocation, providing some support to explore a combination therapy method atlantoaxial dislocation, as Integrative contribute to the cause of our country.Methods:Select the China-Japen Friendship Hospital, surgical cervical spine disease center from March2004to March2013189patients with atlantoaxial dislocation, male106cases, female83cases, according to TOI typing the189cases were divided into4groups:T1, T2, O, I, including71cases of type Ti,75cases of T2type,39cases of type O, and4cases of type1, according to the classification were given, including traction, surgical reduction and integration of fixed and other treatment, patients stringent restrictions neck brake12weeks, and patients were followed up for24months. Using statistical methods, respectively.Comparing the atlas effective space available for the cord(SAC), JOA score and symptoms of blood stasis points before and after theiapy.Results:T1,T2,O, I type patients before therapy,the SAC were (13.46±0.49),(10.41±0.10),(7.75±1.19),(12.50±0.41) mm, the last follow-up wre (16.1±0.22),(15.42±0.61),(14.54±1.20),(14.18±2.64)mm, P<0.05; the blood stasis syndrome score before therapy was (8.39±0.49),(6.75±0.44),(4.87±0.80),(7.75±0.50), the last follow-up were (12.34±0.75),(10.34±0.18),(8.49±0.72),(9.50±0.58), P<0.05; former JOA scores were respectively(12.94±1.18),(10.21±0.79),(7.13±0.98),(8.25±0.96), the last follow-up were (15.47±0.92),(13.65±0.94),(12.28±0.97),(10.50±0.58), P<0.05.
