The purpose of this paper is research on Yu Jinghe’s life and medicalwritings, academic inheritance and clinical features by collecting and analysingMeng He School, Yu Jinghe’s life stories and writings, using literature researchmethods.His road to success could be divided into the following three stages: hislife experienced all kinds of hardships when he learn it by himself before twentyyears old. And then an important turning point in his life is coming, when fromtwenty-one to thirty-five. In this period, he took Meng He’s famous doctor FeiLanquan as the teacher and made a big advance in medicine. And then he took doctoras a career and has a happy life until sixty-one. In his all medical writings,“Note of Shang Han Lun Yi” four volumes,“Compilation of Surgical Case” fourvolumes and “Medical Case of Yu” one volume have already published,“Hai YuJi Fang Medical Case” two volumes,“Disease Explain of Shang Han Liu Jing”several volumes and “Solution of Shang Han Enlightenment” seven volumes hadnot been published.He played a very important role in Meng He School’s heritage. On the onehand, Meng He School take disciples do not judge people whether he is a familymember, so he can made a big medical progress; on the other hand, he sent outthe development of Meng He School through his own action.In the clinic practice, Yu Jinghe have distinct characteristics: symptomis the first priority you have to know in medical treatment; medical treatmentcan not be confused by other medical words and deeds, doctor have to believehis own analysis and diagnosis; cure disease harmoniously, highly recommendbeneficial principle; Yu Jinghe’s treatment is similar to Zhang Zhongjing whodoes not adhere rigidly to the “Shang Han spread foot does not pass from hand,but Wen Bing does not pass on foot”; he is good at using the “vomit method”whenhe treat serious disease; he advocate the food treatment and against the abuse of tonic; he advocate doctors study on both of internal medicine and surgery.
