Current Situation And Strategy Of Kunming Blood Donation

Blood donation is a systematic, highly participatory and basic project, which needs the participation and support of the whole society. The blood centre as a non-profit public service organization is not only a sendce department to carry out the work of blood donation, but also a window to disseminate the new social fashion of blood donation. In order to better protect the public image, the blood centre carry out public activities through a series of communication means to establish the mutual understanding, trust and support with governments at all levels, the social system and the public so as to promote the development in the service procedure of conducting blood donation propaganda, mobilization and recruitment.Combined with the geographical characteristics and typicality of Kunming city, in order to research the various influent factors of blood donation, I diagnose the development status of voluntary blood donation, the population construction of partial blood donors and blood donation motivation in Kunming area during a certain period of time on the basis of mastering the blood donation development history, blood donation work status and characteristics of Kunming city. Research has revealed that there are still large gap between Kunming city and developed countries as well as domestic developed area in the development level of blood donation. Associated with the actual situation of Kunming blood donation and street voluntary blood donation model, in order to promote the development of voluntary blood donation, I propound five suggestions and countermeasures from the point of view of public relations theory: establish the government-led voluntary blood donation promotion mode to promote the blood donation work smooth development; strengthen the service brand building of blood centre to shape good public image; carry out propaganda and mobilization to expend the team of voluntary blood donors; analyze the donation motivation to carry out multi-angle and multi-form blood recruitment work; establish a volunteer blood donation service team to promote voluntary blood donation work.
