| Purpose：To explore the clinical efficacy of Modified Huanglian Jiedu Tang in thetreatment of adolescent acne patients, and find a significant effect of Chinese traditionalmedicine and treatment of adolescent acne.Material and method：We observed the clinical curative effect on the cases selectedfrom the adolescent acne patients who went to the dermatology outpatient of LiaoningUniversity of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital during October2011toDecember2012. The86cases of adolescent acne patients were randomly divided into thetreatment group and the control group: the treatment group of43cases with Huanglian JieduTang100ml,3times a day orally, topical clindamycin phosphate ester solution,2times a day;the control group of43cases with Qingre Anchuang capsule2granules,3times a day, topicalclindamycin phosphate ester solution,2times a day. The two groups both as four weeks as acourse of treatment, and after two courses of treatment continuously, evaluated the clinicalefficacy according to the integral changes before and after treatment of the skin lesions andTraditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores.Results：1. The total efficiency of the treatment group was93.02%, and the control group was79.01%.The efficiency in both groups compared, the differences were significant (P＜0.05).2. The scores of skin lesions and Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome in two groups withsignificant difference before and after the treatment (P＜0.01), and the treatment group wasbetter than the control group.Conclusion：1. Modified Huanglian Jiedu Tang can significantly improve the clinical symptoms ofadolescent acne patients.2. Modified Huanglian Jiedu Tang treatment of adolescent acne patients significantly betterthan the Qingre Anchuang capsule, worthy of further promotion applications. |
