| As the enhancing health awareness of the public, the competition of medical industry is becoming increasingly fierce. If medical institutions need stay in the severe competition environment for sustainable development, they should always keep a high level quality of service. Patient involvement as an important way to improve the quality of service has been widely recognized in western countries.But the actual level of patient involvement is not ideal in China.The patient’s desire for participation has not been fully met. As the core resource of medical institution, the doctor should take actions to facilitate patient participation in Medical Sevice, which can improve the effection of patient involvement.Based on the measuring approaches of foreign scholars, the study firstly grasps the status quo of faciliting patient involvement.Through reading the papers about the factors which have an influence on doctors’ behavior of promoting patient involvement, a research model of influcing factors is formed.Therefore a survey is conducted to verify the model.The conclusions can be shown as follows:(1) it is a difference between doctors and patients for perceiving the doctor’s facilitation of Patient involvement.The doctors perceived a higher level than the patients.(2) Patient’s exception of doctor’s faciliting behavior is higher than the actual feeling of patient. The patients have a strong demand to participate, but the doctors do not take sufficient measures to encourage patient to involve.(3) Communication capacity, perceived outcome, perceived doctor-patient relationship, perceived patient’s communication and perceived patient’s severity of illness have a positive influence on doctor’s faciliting behavior for patient involvement, while Percived time pressure has a negative influence on doctor’s faciliting behavior for patient involvement. Therefore compared with other influencing factors, percived time pressure can explain less of the doctor’s faciliting behavior.(4) Working time can play a positive role in moderating the relationship between perceived outcome, perceived doctor-patient relationship, perceived patient’s severity of illness and doctor’s faciliting behavior for patient involvement.In order to effectively improve the doctor’s faciliting behavior for patient involvement, doctor samples are divided into three categories by clustering analysis.The division standard is the influencing factors. |
