Electric vehicle is the only kind of vehicle that can achieve the target of zero-emission. Due to environmental requirements, associated with the development of new materials and new technology, electric vehicle has entered a fast development period, Sorts of general and special electric vehicles are being researched and developed actively. Circuit system, which is an important part of electric vehicle, becomes more and more complex, and wiring is becoming more and more difficult. Therefore, it is important to choose an efficient, reliable circuit design approach.This thesis conducted an in-depth analysis on the existing automobile circuit structure, principle and design method. A certain type of electrical system for electric vehicle is designed and optimized with Multisim11.0. The main researches and results are as follows:Firstly, according to the principle of the vehicle electrical system design, the technical characteristics of the electric vehicles and special design requirements, the thesis aiming at optimizing composition of the vehicle electrical system, layout of the vehicle, load matching and line layout of the vehicle.Secondly, considering the requirements of the vehicle circuit system functionality, security, reliability and costs, the circuit system design, selection of components and assembly debugging are completed. The circuit system consists of motor and control circuit, dashboard, combination switch, relay and fuse box circuit, auto lighting system, electronic flasher and wiper assembly, which achieve the design requirements of the project.Then, due to the complexity of circuit system and difficulty of writing, Multisiml1.0software is used to design and simulate the light control circuit. The control function of lighting system is also implemented. Using Multisim11.0has the characteristic of optimized circuit construction, clear wiring, high design efficiency and low design cost.The results of the thesis have reference value for the design of other types of dedicated electric vehicle electrical system. In particular, the design and simulation of cell circuit and whole circuit, which are based on Multisim11.0, can be easily and quickly built, modified, verified and optimized. The application of Multisiml11.0can make circuit construction easier, writing more clear and reasonable. The research of the thesis has practical significance for the design and optimization of the wiring.
