Asphalt pavement plays a leading role in the highway construction of China. HMA (Hot Mix Asphalt) is one of the main suitable asphalt mixtures. However, HMA produces a series of problems because of the higher temperature in the construction, for example asphalt aging, harmful gas emissions and high energy consumption and so on. It will achieve a multiplier effect, if the HMA with good performance can be operated in the low temperature conditions.Selected a complex organic compounds as the warm mix agents, that the material not only at high temperatures, by good penetration capacity with strong dispersing ability reduce the viscosity of bitumen, can be improved while the low-temperature viscosity of the bitumen, thereby improving the high temperature stability of the mixture.On this basis, the porosity method, such as viscosity method and the Markov method comparison test different structure types warm mix asphalt mixing and compaction temperatures, results show:compared with matrix asphalt mixture, to reduce compaction temperature of the mixture of15~20℃; addition, through mixture and delay characteristics of the different structure type temperature test analysis proved warm Mixture can extend the construction period of at least10minutes, and has a significant effect. Warm Mix Asphalt Mixture of different structure types, performance testing and analysis, the results show that such composite Warm Mixture able to ensure that the low-temperature fatigue resistance while significantly improving the performance of high temperature and water stable effect.Based on the above, this warm mix asphalt mixes not only to ensure road performance and achieve significant cooling effect and delay characteristics, can achieve the purpose of effectively extend the construction time and to reduce environment pollution, has important social and economic benefits. |
