In modern society, the level of environmental quality of human life represents human survival and social development status. Now, dozens of electronic equipment exist in every corner of our society, Cell phones, TV, Communication Equipments and so on. It can say that we live in the electromagnetic field every day, and now the electromagnetic environment has become an important part of the contemporary society environment. Electromagnetic environment directly determines the quality of human life quality, and the power quality is the important of the electromagnetic environment.With the rapid development of power electronics technology, the widespread use of switching devices with the driving signal frequency increasing, that results in the high-frequency noise for our equipments and causes serious harm. Especially high-precision instruments sensitive to power quality used in China’s industrial production, power quality may affect their normal working, causing serious damage to the our industry.Therefore, the power quality problem is a key factor for influencing the power system operation and affecting the national economic development.The monitoring device designed of this project uses the structure of FPGA and ARM. FPGA is mainly used on acquiring the three-phase voltages and three-phase current data, processor ARM is used on Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm to detect power quality indicators.In addition, in order to meet the requirements of modern power quality detection device, the subject selectes the high-precision, high-speed A/D converter, to improve the detection accuracy of the apparatus; equipped with RS485, Ethernet, GSM interface, realized remote operation; using the SD card as the storage medium, to improve the data storage capacity, providing enough data for the analysis of signal characteristics. Finally, in the laboratory, through system tests proved the programe is feasible and the device achieved the expected design goals. |
