In housing construction, the wall beams is widely used, such as the tie beams for the connection, and foundation beams. This article focused on research and test results of wall beam at home and abroad, and discussed the elastic state of two-span continuous wall beam under vertical load, and analysed stress condition of joist under the’ no-hole and with hole wall-beams comprehensively. According to the test results of wall beam, came to conclusion that the joist support section is in the bent state, cross section is in eccentric tension state. And got shear stress in bearing edge by analysis of joist stress, and specifically analysed the influence of different factors on the bearing edge section shear. This article conducted a comparative analysis of frame beam and wall beam under the same condition, and got the shear force coefficient of joist of continuous wall beam in bearing edge section. By application of ANSYS software in this article, use of regression analysis method, got the formula for the shearing of joist, and illustrated the difference between this formula and design formula with an example, discussed the general formulas in this article.
