Evaluation Of The Risk Of Chongqing With LPG Storage Library

Due to the properties of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) such as characteristics of combustible and explosive, there exist safety risks in the process of its production, storage and transportation, which would lead to massive losses if any accident happens. For this reason, it is particularly important to carry out risk assessment of Chongqing LPG storage and distribution libraries. This paper includes six parts as follows:(1) Introduction. In this part the study background and importance of safety evaluation are set forth. The current safety situation of Chongqing LPG storage and distribution libraries is analyzed and it is necessary to carry out the safety evaluation. Then the survey of study on safety evaluation for LPG storage and distribution libraries is expounded as well as the common methods. And in this part the study content and technical route are also pointed out.(2) General situation of Chongqing LPG Storage and distribution libraries. In this part, project implementation and natural conditions of Chongqing LPG storage and distribution libraries are stated.(3) Risk assessment method in detail. Describes the various methods of risk assessment principles and advantages and disadvantages.(4) Hazard identification for Chongqing LPG storage and distribution libraries. The objective, task, and method of hazard identification are illustrated as well as the procedure and content of hazard identification. Then for the first and second types of Chongqing LPG Storage and distribution libraries hazard, the identification procedure is explained in detail. Also the risk evaluation indicator system is established.(5) Risk assessment for Chongqing LPG storage and distribution libraries including categorization of safety evaluation unit, selection of safety evaluation method and safety checklist analysis.(6) Risk evaluation results of Chongqing LPG storage and distribution libraries and suggestions for reducing the risk.(7) Results and suggestion. Research achievements are summarized.Through the risk assessment of the Chongqing LPG storage and distribution libraries, can identify major risk sources better, and take corresponding measures according to the results of identification, has certain practical significance to the safe operation of Chongqing LPG storage and distribution libraries.
