Correct understanding the forming conditions which make major hazard installations to accident, identifying major hazard installations overall and accurately, choosing scientific methods of risk assessment to make the risk assessment result objective and provide the effective risk control according to the risk assessment results are the important contents of enterprise 's safety work in production.The thesis studies main content is specifically for the application of the step and methods of major hazards identification, risk analysis and assessment. The main contents include:(1)Contrast studies on the Standard of major hazard identification.(2) Pattern constraction of major hazards analyses, identification and risk assessment.(3)The application study of the pattern by analysis and study on a case.On the basis of carefully studying of the theories and the methods, such as Accident-Causing Theory, Classingfication Theory, Major hazards identification methods and Major Accident Consequence Assessment methods, this paper takes an contractive analysis and study between chinese and foreign identification standards of major hazard installation in respects of major hazards definication, category, range and the critical value in hazard substance in order to confirm the standards problems that exist in practice., choosing a right major hazard identification standard according to the application status and problem, and providing the basis for the constraction of major hazards analyses, identification and risk assessment pattern.This paper attempts to have structured the major hazard analysis, identification and risk assessment pattern on basis of the study of theory and method.The pattern is composed of two parts,the first part is dangerous source analysis and identification which have four phases: dangerous source analysis and identification, major hazard identification, major accidents pattern analysis, major cccident cause analysis. The second part is major hazard risk assessment including major accident consequence quantity analysis and Comprehensive Assessment。Intuitivly display the goal, object, methods and steps of each phase by pattern-graph.Taking a LPG station as example, analysis and identify its major hazard installations and make risk assessment using the contracted pattern.the results of analysing and studying case is:(1) The LPG station is major hazard installation because the reserves of LPG exceed the standard regulation critical quantity standard according to the Ask for idea draft of identification standards of major hazard installations.(2 ) The method applying accident statistics , accident tree and event tree to be tied in wedlock each other has ascertained 9 kinds accident patterns, And has carried on the reason analysis to the fire explosion accident; got the hurt range of LPG typical accident.Comprehensive Assessment results of LPG station is:the hazard grade of LPG station is second grade, the grade of control capability is B,so the control capability match the hazard grade,the LPG station is safe basically.By applying the major hazard installations analysis,identification and risk assessment pattern has constructed in the paper to carry out safe valuation on major hazard installations is beneficial to identify existing hazard source in all-round enterprise and identification the major hazard,seek the accident cause further , determine the accident model and injury consequence, beneficial to enterprise raises the safety countermeasures for prevention of accidents .
