College faculty student achievement evaluation is a very important routin work, we often have to assess the scholarship, excellent assessment, merit-based allocation, it is recommended graduate students to solve these problems, the key is to students in school during the performance of scientific, rational, comprehensive evaluation, the evaluation is generally based on a wide range of knowledge and ability, students at the university during the course, students as well as their acquired skills. In our current education system, the concrete manifestation of these knowledge and abilities of the students on the mastery of the course is usually examination results. With the continuous deepening of education reform, student achievement evaluation model has always been practiced in the decades increasingly showing its shortcomings. At present, more evaluation methods are the average ranking of course. With the method of factor analysis to comprehensive evaluation of student achievement, than other solutions available, factor analysis of the course grade school students to identify potential factors affecting student achievement, factor analysis results can be a deeper level of understand that the ability of students in all aspects, a comprehensive evaluation based on student achievement.In this paper, multivariate statistical analysis as the theoretical basis, pointed out that the method of factor analysis of the corresponding rules in the selected factors and factor analysis in the comprehensive evaluation of college student achievement, student achievement through the collected raw data (Xing Yi Normal University for Nationalities Department of Mathematics138students24required courses examination results), the factor analysis of student achievement, and then a comprehensive evaluation of students and the college curriculum rationality, to master the different types of students different personality characteristics, and their employment for specific guidance. Derived factor score sort with the traditional average sort, but it is more objective than the traditional average sort and reasonable. Factor score sort of evaluation of students, we can get students more information, the ranking of each factor can see more clearly the individual student differences in ability and quality, objective grasp of the students’ knowledge of all aspects of the situation to understand where the students all aspects of the characteristics and advantages and disadvantages. The ranking results will be reduced to subjective factors, the actual situation more in line with the students.
