With this change, the rural society frommainly depend on the rule of change in the past to rely on the rule of law. This socialtransformation needs of China’s rural legal system perfect, needs the law consciousness of the peasants for social change change.This paper is based on the rural farmers legal awareness promotion as the mainpurpose, through the development of contemporary Chinese rural legal consciousness,the consciousness of reporting current research situation, problems related to summarizethe current research findings highlight in the process, including the lack of developmentof all aspects of the problems left over by history and times caused by the, tries to talkabout and research, to explore an effective path to help farmers to enhance awareness ofthe law, to provide theoretical basis for effective practice to expand China’s rural legaldevelopment space.This article consists of six parts, the first part is an introduction, describes the researchprocess, be concise and to the point and the schedule, expounds basic theory knowledgefor the modernization of legal consciousness of farmers in the rural areas developmentthe second part and the awareness of the law, of the third section based on China’s currentlaw consciousness of the peasants, by three aspects of legal literacy, the trust of law,folklore studies, discuss the lack of rural farmers awareness of the law, the fourth part isthe third chapter, the discussion of the cause of China’s legal awareness of farmers invarious inducements, defects from three aspects of economy, education, culturaldevelopment, political orientation to be emphasized.
