Management On Public Crisis Triggered By The Rumors:from The Perspective Of Life Cycle Of Crisis

Rumor-type public crisis is a serious threat to the social system, caused by rumors. It has a high degree of uncertainty, special, unpredictable, unconventional features. In recent years, more and more rumors of public crisis, but There is little theoretical study about it. In this paper, combined with the life cycle theory and empirical research, the rumors public crisis is divided into five processes, the gestation period, accumulation period, the tipping point, explosion mixture period, regressive period. With the analysis of every period with the salt shortage crisis of2011, I have the following conclusion:First, the later the rumor be stopped, the greater the destructive power it has; Second, people does not because of the lessons to improve their ability to rumors; Third, some one’s distinguish ability impacted by education, character and marital status.
