The Research On The Solutions To The Problems In Urban Community Health Service Management In Our Country

With the continuous development of the national economy, the people’s standard of livingis increasingly improved, so does the people’s requirements on quality of life, especially in thefield of medical treatment and public health. On the one hand, the people call for theimprovement on the service standard and quality and in the mean time the reduction on theprices of medical service. On the other hand, the field of medical treatment and public health isfacing the rise in the cost of treatment, the year by year growth of medical treatment charge percapita, as well as the difficult position of constant medical disputes. With the further promotionon the reform of the medical treatment and health service, we start to recognize better theimportance of developing medical and health service institutions at basic level. This can notonly effectively relieve difficulties in getting medical treatment but also reduce the high cost ofmedical treatment of patients. Community health service center is one important link in basicmedical and health services. Good management of the community health service center will notonly enrich the health service institutions which could effectively solve the conflicts betweensupply and demand of medical resources, but also substantially reduce the medical costs by thezero rate differential sales of the essential drugs which avoid the possibility of transferringmedical cost to drug spends. In the current medical reform, there’s no doubt that thedevelopment of community health service is an effective way to solve the problem.Taking the role of government in the community health service center, this thesis hasperformed the research by several methods, such as examining the literatures, and visiting21community health service centers in one city of Hunan province. It analyzes the existingproblems in urban community health service management in our country, and discusses theeffective ways to manage community health service centers based on the problems and actualsituation. Its structure and main content is as follows:The first part of this thesis introduces the research background and sources and reviewsboth domestic and foreign research literature based on which the thoughts, methods andpossible innovations are given. The second part mainly introduces the related theories ofcommunity health management. The third part summarizes the current actuality in communityhealth services in our country based on literature review. The forth part introduces the currentstatus and the sources of the existing problems in community health services in our country byanalyzing the urban community health service management in Zhuzhou. In the last part,solutions and suggestions of the government management on community health service aregiven according to the problems.
