The music compositions of Pipa Chu and Han Shimianmaifu andBawangxiejia are all martial arts music composed in descriptive style, which arebased on the them of the war of Gaixia, a scene of decisive ballie between Chuand Han, Given that the Chu and Han in Ming Dynasty demonstrated the wholeprocess of battle, restored the record of history in highest possibilities, anddescribed the general state before and after war, the selected topic lays emphasison comparative analysis on culture, inheritance, performance of content andtechnique of the works Secondly, Shimianmaifu lay emphasis on description ofscenery, and highlights that of battle occasion, Thirdly, Bawangxiejia attachimportance to emotion, which concentrates on the inner changes of Xiang Yu theConqueror’s heart, thus placing individual into the background of war. Aftercomparing the three music compositions of Pipa, Chu and Han has the strictstructure and is nearest to historical facts, while Shimianmaifu highlights thedescriptions on time spans of “ambush”,“great war” and “Wujiang River”.Bawangxiejia concentrates on The Song of Chu and Farewell to My Concubine,but briefly describes the scene of battle, To sum up, the three song have differentnames, which fit the intention of composition, meanwhile, they also show theconsistency of the same origin.
