Research On The Modeling Of Ming-style Armor Of Military Generals In Chinese Animation Art

In modern film and television animation design,costume design is an extremely important content in film and television animation character shaping.Armor styling design is a type of clothing styling design,and it is also an indispensable element in shaping the image of an animated general.Studying the Chinese armor culture and applying the elements on the traditional armor to the design of the armor of the animated generals is also in line with the aesthetic needs of contemporary people.In this paper,from the perspective of the Ming-style armor of the classic Chinese armor in ancient China,based on the shape characteristics of the Ming-style armor shape of the military generals stone statues,this paper studies the structural characteristics of the Ming-style armors in the Chinese animation works,and compares them with the military generals stone statues.A comparative analysis of the shape of the armor and the shape of Ming-style armor in foreign animation shows that the Ming-style armor in Chinese animation works is similar in aesthetic style,modeling structure and design creativity.Therefore,the form creation of Ming-style armor of military generals in animation art is proposed.In terms of cultural expression,there are not only traditional formal designs but also creative expressions.
