With the rapid development of the modern art environment, traditional decorative design usually considered obsolete. On the traditional culture and insufficient attention, led to the design strength for new understanding of the nation’s own traditional weak. This paper studies on the traditional decorative fonts, trying to find the traditional art of self identity behind the state of mind, trying to find the traditional value must be in the local cultural resources.From the modern tradition of decorative fonts survival state can be glimpsed, many forms of art is just a simple copy of the ancient past, the pursuit of formal agreement, and ignore the practicality and value lost its essence.
