Research On Calligraphy Font Design Under The Digital Backgroun

Under the wave of digital development,the role of fonts has become more granular and subdivided,and the technical tools,communication media,and development methods of typeface design have all changed dramatically due to the advancement of digital technology.In this context,as an important category in Chinese character font design,how to coexist and better develop between artistry and digitization has become an important issue in the current Chinese character font design field.This paper takes digital calligraphic fonts as the research object,takes the historical development of calligraphic fonts as the foundation,combines theory and digital design cases,analyzes and summarizes the design technology tools,design methods and design processes of calligraphic fonts in the digital era.In the design practice,based on this design method and the corresponding design specification,and with the assistance of digital font design technology tools,the design practice of Lingfei Kai family fonts is carried out to provide a feasible method for the "translation" of calligraphy to digital calligraphy family fonts,aiming to promote the digitalization of classical calligraphy art.The aim is to promote the development of classical calligraphy and to provide a new perspective for digital calligraphy font design.The digital era of calligraphic fonts is an inheritance of traditional calligraphy and a new source of creativity for the design of Chinese fonts.In this paper,we focus on calligraphic fonts in the digital era,and we have accomplished three main tasks: firstly,we have reviewed the evolutionary path of calligraphic fonts from the era of lead to the present;secondly,we have summarized the theories of calligraphic fonts in the industry,and based on them,we have concluded the design strategies of calligraphic fonts in the digital era;thirdly,we have used the concluded design strategies and specifications to practice the design of the Lingfei Kai family fonts,and to provide reference for other people’s related research and The third is to practice the design strategies and specifications of the Lingfei Kai family fonts,and provide reference for others’ research and creation.
