Because of the growing English-speaking people and thrive of foreignculture, a growing number of people begin to read bilingual magazine,amongwhich bilingual alumni magazine is a special one. The thesis takes CEIBSalumni magazine The Link, introduces its style, characteristics andtranslation strategy and tries to review the pattern within it.I found that much editing is needed in bilingual magazine’stranslation because there is much difference in readers’ culturalbackground and thinking way in bilingual text. And even in the samebilingual magazine, because of different text function, teststyle,translator needs to use different editing and translationstrategies. How to add, delete, exchange order depends on different textfunctions and readers’ situations.
