Research On The ChuJi Of Liao Daonan

"Chuji" is a Chu (HuGuang area of Ming dynasty) history, compiled by Ming dynasty scholar Liao Daonan."Chuji" told from the ancient to the dynasty of Jia Jing, gave priority to with people, and collected articles and poems, in this way, documented the history of thousands of years of Chu, including imperial minister, scholars, recluses, and its related articles and poems.Liao has collected historical materials related to Chu from various aspects, after analysis, he finally put his book into15categories, and expressed his historical thoughts of "ancient and modern convergence","processing of change","praise of seclusion " in the process of telling the facts and opinions.This paper has five parts. The introduction part focuses on an overview of Liao Daonan’s life and the basic situation of "Chuji". My purpose is to explain that it is a conscious behavior for Liao in writing "Chuji", and he hopes his book is one of immortality.The first part tells the various types of historical data sources of "Chuji". I think its historical data source types mainly include:all previous dynasties history books, local chronicles books, collected works and novels, Liao’s articles and poems, Liao’s saw and heard, etc.The second part sums up the main content of the "Chuji" and its classification, I pointed out that "Chuji" is a local general history book, and its classification arrangement is based on the idea of "ZunZun","QinQin","XianXian".The third part expounds the main historical thoughts of "Chuji", that is "ancient and modern convergence","processing of change","praise of seclusion".The fourth part summarizes the value and deficiency of "Chuji". Firstly, I analyzed the argument of "Si ku quan shu zong mu". Secondly, I expressed my opinions from three aspects such as the historical dada, classification arrangement, historical thought, after analyzed its value and deficiency.In a word,"Chuji" is a new history book which is written by collecting all kinds of historical materials related to Chu, Cutting fused cast, classification arrangement. So,"Chuji" has its new forms, new contents and new value.
