Research On The General History Of China And Japan Since 1949

Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,especially after 1980s,with the rapid development of Japanese history studies,the publication of Japanese general history has been increasing.It is of great significance to make systematic analysis of Japanese general history works and sum up their gains and losses.The research is based on the analysis of Japanese general history works published after 1949 in mainland China,and comparison of many Japanese dynastic history works published in mainland China and Japanese general history works written by Japanese and American scholars.The main purpose of this article is to summarize the characteristics and existing problems of Japanese general history works.It is hope that compilation of Japanese general history will be able to get better in the future.This article consists of two parts:introduction and textThe first part introduces the purpose,significance,research methods and innovation of this paper.The research framework of this paper is established on the basis of analyzing and summarizing the relevant research.The second part includes three chapters.The first chapter analyzes writing style,historiography thoughts and methods of different kinds of Japanese history works which have been published in mainland,in order to present the development course and characteristics of Japanese general history works published in mainland.In the second and third chapters,I would like to analyzes the similarities and differences on writing style,historiography thoughts and methods,description of specific historical events by comparing the Japanese dynastic history published in mainland and the representative Japanese general history works written by Japanese and American scholars with the works mentioned in the first chapter.And on this basis I clarify the experience and lessons for future compilation of Japanese general history in mainland.In the conclusion,I make a summary of the published works of Japanese general history in mainland,and analyze the characteristics and problems of their compilation.I also want to provide my own thoughts on the compilation of Japanese general history works,especially on the multi-volume one.
