The Pure Land Sect has always been the focus in Chinese Buddhism after Yongming Yanshou’s advocating "the practice of Zen and Pure land" and it was famous in the late Ming Dynasty. When the views of "the fusion of Zen and Pure Land" and "the Pure land sect’s assimilating Zen and others Sects" were popular in the late Ming Dynasty, The Pure Land Sect had been the leading in Chinese Buddhism because of it’s perfect fusing. The Pure Land Sect constructed it’s mind nature theory though assimilating the mind nature theory of Tiantai Sect、Hua-Yen Buddhism and Zen Buddhism. The essence of this issue is the fusing of "The Western Pure Land" and the "The Idealistic Pure Land". The Western Pure Land assimilated the thought of The Idealistic Pure Land, at the same time it was also include the problem of The Idealistic Pure Land. That is the contradiction of "The Ture Mind Pure Land "whose representative is Hua-Yen Buddhism and Zen Buddhism and "The Deluded Mind Pure Land" whose representative is Tiantai Sect. The Pure Land Sect’s mind nature theory in Ming Dynasty also has another problem. That is the fusing of the thought of other-reliance in "The Western Pure Land" and the thought of self-reliance in "The Idealistic Pure Land". The Pure Land Sect in Ming Dynasty given it’s own solution.
