Becoming Immortal By Loyalty And Filial Piety:A Study On The Mind Thought Of The Pure Brightness Sect

The cultivation of the "Taoism of loyalty and filial piety" means returning to the Tao.In terms of the Pure Brightness Sect’s understanding and promotion of "Tao",it explained the fundamental appearance of "Tao" between heaven and man with the concept of "central yellow eight poles".It emphasizes the "right position" and "right nature" of "the Taoism of loyalty and filial piety",and points out the necessity of cultivating "rectifying the mind".The uniqueness of the concept of cultivating mind and nature is that,in the concrete practice of"rectifying the mind",the Pure Brightness Sect attaches great importance to the cultivation of the mentality of the "look inside by imagine mirror and water",and believes that this can "returning to the nature of primitive pure brightness".In order to "rectifying the mind and self-cultivation",the Pure Brightness Sect put forward the idea of "organizing nature and mind".It holds that through the preservation and reflection of "loyalty and filial piety",people can "get rid of desire","Inaction" and "selflessness",realize "rational recovery",abandon "private mind" and integrate into "public mind".The understanding of the secular and extraordinary concept of benefit and salvation should be,the Pure Brightness Sect used the induction of the "celestial mind" as the test of cultivating the "rectifying the mind" and "public mind".If people’s "loyalty and filial piety" and their parents,heaven and earth get the verification of "celestial mind",then the mind and heaven are consistent with Tao.The Pure Brightness Sect’s interpretation of the ultimate transcendent concept of"return" is,it expounds the transcendence of spiritual realm through the concept of"primitive pure brightness".It believes that through the cultivation of loyalty and filial piety,we can achieve the goal of returning to the realm of primitive pure brightness.This means "returning to the roots and restoring life" through the cultivation of "loyalty,filial piety," and integration into the "supreme emptiness" realm to realize the original return of the spiritual realm.
