Because of the significance of the Chinese selective complexsentences, it turned to be one of the basic knowledge points which foreignstudents should learn in the language communication and writtenexpression. Lv Wenhua pointed out that the marked grammatical form waseasily learnt and used by foreign students compared with unmarkedgrammatical form. However, there are still errors in the sentences whichmade by students when they use the knowledge point. This thesis is a studyand discussion on acquisition of Chinese marked selective complexsentences of Mongolian students based on the author’s volunteerexperience of teaching Chinese in Mongolia. There are five parts in this thesis. The first part is an introductionwhich states the reason and meaning of the subject, and then defines theresearch scope, illustrates the thoughts, the sources of corpus, theinnovation and the insufficient, finally summarizes the previous studiesin two parts. The second part is the survey on using of Chinese markedselective complex sentences by Mongolian students, we made analysis ofdifferent situations, and then we got the order of seven sentence patternswhich the students learnt. The third part is the error analysis, we foundthat students always made errors on the associated words and the locationof the compositions, and the other errors are about the sentences’ logic. And then we made a discussion on the reasons of errors. The forth partis some teaching suggestions which based on author’s experience. The fifth part is conclusion. For now, studies on Chinese complex sentences of Mongolian studentsare very few, I hope this thesis could make some differences and progressesin teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Mongolia.
