Argumentation On Characteristic Of Chinese And Japanese Ceramic Tea Set Design In The View Of Zen Culture’s Difference

Ceramic tea set is one of the important subjects ceramic art,and has profoundcultural background. China, Japan, the two most Oriental countries, on the performanceof art is influenced by zen culture penetration,but different style on the design of ceramictea set, to reveal their charm of different, reflects the different culture between the twocountries.The ceramic tea set has a long history, since the tang and song dynasty, frequentcultural exchanges between the two countries, and China’s zen, tea, tea culture into Japan,developed into the national characteristics of zen and tea culture in Japan, become theimportant content and symbol of Japanese culture forward.In the process of thedevelopment of the tea set, the spirit and attitude of zen Buddhism culture runs throughthem.Zen culture of China originates from India, in the process of spread to Japan, it hascreated a unique Japanese zen culture.In this context, how are evolvement of ceramic teaset? how are the style characteristics of different periods?This article obtains from the zen tea origin, the zen culture and ceramic tea set as athesis of trunk, in between the two countries different zen culture as the background,through comparison, this paper respectively introduces the developing process of thehistory of ceramic tea set, and the two countries analyzed zen thought and the intrinsicrelationship between ceramic tea set, grasp the common style of ceramic tea set of thetwo countries, comparison and analysis in qualitative, pattern, decorative three aspects ofthe different characteristics and the reasons, finally it is concluded that the significance ofzen Buddhism culture to the ceramic tea set design.
