With the economy so developed today, the rapid development of packaging design presents a trend of diversification. The packaging shown in many kinds of design on the market, but there is no accurate stereotype of packaging design for children, children’s sense is so different from adults’. So, those colorful packing appearance and exquisite fovefy model can attract their more attention. We should grasp the sensory characteristics of consumer groups at different ages, emphasizing on children’s visual, touch and taste sense of packaging application. In addition, packaging should be designed for children from safety, convenience and education.This paper analyzes the present situation of packaging design at home and abroad and points out the existing problems. Through description of sense organ concept, I put forward a concept of the sense in children’s packaging application. To analyze different sensory characteristics of the child’s age as the breakthrough point, this paper presents the thought of design, which mixes sense organ theory and design. In this way, this solution can bring brand-new, safer and more convenient packaging design to children in the future. |
