The development of human beings in childhood is crucial and lays the foundation for each subsequent stage of life. However, for visually impaired children, early cognitive learning is difficult. In recent years, although the state has paid more and more attention to the education of special groups, and increased the education and development space for special groups, visually impaired children,as an important part of China’s special groups, are still in the entire cultural exchange relationship and education development direction.Disadvantages, even if access to the same educational resources as ordinary children is of no avail,a full-scale in-depth study of pre-school education for visually impaired children is needed.Books are the source of knowledge for visually impaired children, the main medium of information exchange, and the most convenient way for visually impaired children to understand the world. However, most of the books currently available on the market that can be supplied to visually impaired children are mainly embossed braille touch books.Books designed from the perspective of visually impaired children are relatively scarce. In this paper, from the perspective of visually impaired children’s cognitive characteristics and sensory experience, the characteristics of the interactive form of visually impaired children and books are discussed in depth. The design is mainly presented through the following levels:First of all,the paper analyzes and analyzes the behavior habits and cognitive psychology of visually impaired children, and analyzes the interdependent and interactive relationship between sensory experience and visually impaired children’s reading through cognitive characteristics. The gains and losses of visually impaired children’s sensory experience are the key to improving your reading experience. Therefore,it is concluded that the increase of sensory experience when reading for visually impaired children is an important factor for improving cognitive level and knowledge reserve. When designing books for visually impaired children,it is necessary to focus on the multi-sensory reading mode of visually impaired children.Secondly,by analyzing the current situation of visually impaired children’s books on the market in recent years,as well as the advantages and disadvantages of existing visually impaired children’s books, and summarizing the above analysis,it is concluded that the main reason for the visually impaired children’s low reading quality is Pay attention to the influence of sensory experience of visually impaired children on book design. When designing books for visually impaired children,no attention is paid to the experience mode of multi-sensory cognition of visually impaired children, and there is no in-depth understanding of the sense of touch, hearing, smell and taste of visually impaired children. At present, there is no fun and experience in book design and emotional sensory reading experience. In addition, the reasonable use of layout, form, material and expression techniques is also an important part of the design of books for visually impaired children. Finally,it is concluded that the design of books for visually impaired children should be based on the cognitive psychology of visually impaired children, and based on the unique sensory experience of visually impaired children, the books should be designed in a targeted manner. In the design, maximize the sense of sight, hearing, smell, and taste of visually impaired children,so that visually impaired children can maximize the resonance of reading and interaction with books, enhance the cognitive ability of visually impaired children, and allow them to be more able Good perception of this three-dimensional and fresh world,it is vivid and interesting to feel all things in the world, bringing a rich reading experience for visually impaired children.
