Jing generally means "circumstance and situation", while it specifically refers to "tableau" in the field of painting. However, it has another meaning in Buddhism:the world of the heart. I think it is the mental state. Everyone has a strong desire to express his inner emotions in his subconsciousness, yet in a different way. My mood is expressed with every brushstroke in my paintings. Artistic creation should not be constrained to one form-we can use various emotional artistic images to express a true self. Lute-playing, chess, calligraphy and painting are so elegant that they give us a blurred vision and remain out of reach. Pots and pans are the basic necessities of life they are genuine goods at a fair price and are closely linked with life. Art elegance and worldly trifles constantly collide in daily life-they are conflicting, contradicting yet interacting. Heart builds environment and mood creates perfection. Quiet disposition and tranquil mood are a kind of lifestyle, a form of emotional state and the perfect level my inner heart pursues.Based on the artistic creation of "Lute-playing, chess, calligraphy and painting" and "Pots and Pans" of the Jing series, this paper aims to explore the theme and pattern of traditional Chinese realistic flower-and-bird paintings in terms of their origins, processes and creations.
