Any economical affair occupying spaces can’t exist and process alone. Andspatial dependence and spatial heterogeneity commonly exist as a result of thegeographical space approaching. As the trend of economic globalization continues todeepen and the international competitions are increasingly fierce, the developmentscale and degree of cultural creative industry, which are with the integration ofscience and technology and culture, has become one of the important indicatorsmeasuring the level of a region’s comprehensive competitiveness. Cultural creativeindustry is being strived to develop in every province of China. What factorsinfluence the development of cultural creative industry due to the spatial effects is thecore content of this paper. This paper reviews and combs the research achievements at home and abroad, and summarizes the five influencing factors: talent, technology, tolerance, policysupport and infrastructure. Then, measures the spatial effects of the development ofChinese provincial cultural creative industry using methods of the global Moran’s I,local Moran scatter diagrams, spatial clustering diagrams, spatial Gini coefficient andlocation index, etc, based on2005-2009sample data of added value of Chineseprovincial cultural creative industry. On that basis, establishes the indicator system ofthe influencing factors of the development of cultural creative industry, brings it intospatial econometric model, and produces an empirical research on the five influencingfactors of the development of cultural creative industry. The main conclusions: First, the mean value of2005-2009Moran’s I is0.4506,showing that the development of Chinese provincial cultural creative industry hassignificantly positive spatial autocorrelation and the spatial effects, which play a rolemainly through the spatial spillover effects of the output of nearby provincial culturalcreative industry, not the error impact, are obvious. Secondly, technology is currentlythe most key factor influencing the development of Chinese provincial culturalcreative industry, followed by tolerant socio-cultural environment and talent, whilethe influence of policy support and infrastructure is not significant.
