As the teachers and students come from different countries and areas in the classof teaching Chinese as a foreign language,there are many differences on theirbehaviours and mentality,and class conflicts occurred between teachers and studentsor among the students.This kind of conflict shows up not only in the actions anddispute,but also included some invisible conflicts,such as the mutual resist or hate intheir mentality,the foreign students resist or hate the Chinese classes,teachers usesome improper ways to teach and manage so that produce some badinfluences,contradictions among the students from different countries because of theirdifferent customs.There are five parts in this thesis.Part one is the introduction,which brings up thetheme that the thesis studies.It expounds the overseas and domestic research status ofconflicts between teachers and students,and elaborates the research status of theconflicts when teaching Chinese to foreign students.It also list the researchpurposes,significance and methods of this thesis,and in-depth study the overseas anddomestic research of conflicts which occurred in the Chinese class,then difine theconcept of the conflicts which occurred in the class of teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguege through the combination with the research contents of this thesis.Part2analysises that why the conflicts occurred and the types of them.Through theanalysis and organization of the conflicts which occerred in the class,the aurthor ofthis study classifies the conflicts into4categories:the conflicts caused by culture,theconflicts between the teachers’ outdated teaching methods and the students’ learningmethods,the conflicts caused by the teachers’ management mode,and the conflictsamong the students from different nationalities.This part also analyzes why theseconflicts happen.Part3expounds the conflicts’ influence,point out that we should seethe duality of the conflicts occurred in the class,not only the negative effect,but alsothe active affection.Part4studies the strategies for some kinds of conflicts,comes upwith some specific methods to remit the conflicts which occurred in the class. Part5isthe last part,it is a summary of this thesis.
