Qiu Wangxiang Ancient Poems Creation Research

Qiu Wangxiang is our country modern music history a successful composer, music theorist, educator. As a composer, he made a song of life of more than100, injected a fresh vitality to the new music culture of the time; as a theorist, he compiled a variety of music teaching, has made an important contribution to the construction and development of Chinese music, new music theory; as a music educator, his hard work, bear hardship without complaint, to our music education prosperity, and trained a large number of music talents. However, for such a has made many contributions in the history of Chinese contemporary music musician, it has not caused enough attention of music historiography scholars. Although some works also slightly mentioned Qiu Wangxiang, but are not deeply discussed. This paper will select Qiu Wangxiang and his music creation as the object of study. Strive to do a more in-depth, comprehensive understanding of Qiu Wangxiang, and reveals the main ideas of music education in Qiu Wangxiang and he made to the music in modern China’s contribution, and historical significance and value of his educational ideas and contribution to music is in the Chinese modern music history, according to his specific historical the conditions and environment, to make an objective evaluation in line with the actual history.This paper is divided into four parts:the first chapter mainly discusses the life and music of Qiu Wangxiang’s contribution, including in his music creation, music education, teaching material compiling and other aspects of the main achievements. The second chapter is the main type of Qiu Wangxiang’s songs are summarized classification, the third chapter is a comprehensive and systematic analysis on Qiu Wangxiang’s four Song poetry and art songs, and summarizes the characteristics of poems songs of Qiu Wangxiang, the fourth chapter is the objective evaluation of Qiu Wangxiang music art value and limitations.
