In ’view of todays globalization and increasingly frequent cultural communication,the study of Chinese immigrant writers who compose in acquired language has alreadybecome a potential branch of overseas Chinese literature, their writings have opened a newroad to the flourish of overseas Chinese literature, and promoted the furthercommunication and mutual dialogue between world’s literature.Franfois Cheng,the only Asian member of the Academy France, is the pioneer ofthe writers who compose novel i,n French,Le Dit de Tianyi and LEternite n’est pas de tropare his two French novels setting in China. Through close reading, we can capture anoverview of his acquired-language writing, get an overall view of the subject of his novels,and ifnd the relationship between his creative awareness of identity, thus further illustratehis cultural choices. We are aiming at ifnding the historical and current reasons ofperplexed feelings,understanding their own discourses and following their pursue ofsubjectivity. And exploring the signiifcances of the di’versity of worlds literature, theconvey of spiritual forces of Chinese culture, the interflow of eastern and western culture.
