In recent years, more and more overseas students come to china. Becauseof different cultures, the conflict between Chinese teachers and overseas students iscommon occurrence. For instance, because of different educational system, thiscauses those oversea students distrust their Chinese teachers even Chineseeducational system; on the other hand, because of different political institutions, weoften have conflictions about culture, conception and religious belief. During theclass, Chinese teachers’ some words may irritate their sensitive nerve; overseastudents sometimes may be affected by some political events of their countries, buttheir conceptions may be different from their Chinese teachers, thus, divergencebetween teachers and students come about. This dissertation will make XinJiangnormal university example, be aimed at investigating and analyzing thesephenomenon.This dissertation mainly has four parts; the first part is forewordintroduction, which firstly discusses the reason why I choose this topic. Secondly,the theoretical and practical significance, and research methods. It also includesresearching overview and core concepts of this dissertation. In the second part, I listexamples of the conflictions between Chinese teachers and oversea students. I triedto find the reason why those conflictions come about, and attempted to analyze themby intercultural communication theories and psychology theories. In the third part, Isummarized the reason why those conflictions took place. In the fourth part, I putsome suggestions about how to avoid those conflictions between Chinese teachersand oversea students. This dissertation will and compared Chinese and otherscultures, trying to find the reasons by the theory of intercultural communication andpsychology theory, so that we Chinese teachers will treat the cross-cultural conflictwith correct opinion, so the conflictions between teachers and students will beavoided, at the same time,our teaching work will be carried out smoothly; on theother hand this dissertation will supply some examples about class confliction, whichhave been analyzed with psychology theory. So it is also the theoretical significance.
