Since the new century, the remake phenomenon in the field of our country’s TV plays has come into people’s view, and has gradually become more and more popular as a trend. The birth of a phenomenon must have its rules and motives behind it. This paper is trying to analyze multi-aspect reasons of the Chinese TV plays’remake phenomenon, and further more, analyze why remake plays will be hot at the same time stir up the audience’s constantly dispute. If this phenomenon continues hot, it will produce what kind of benefits and drawbacks. And think about how to draw on the advantages and avoid the disadvantages, to promote the positive development of our country’s TV industry.This paper uses multi-view and the methods of referencing cross-interdisciplinary knowledge, from different perspectives of the investment producers, the creators and the audiences to analyze the causes of remake phenomenon. And also, referring to the new technical knowledge in this discipline and other disciplines’theoretical knowledge related to this research, like communication, economics and psychology etc. to analyze the rational motivations of remake phenomenon.To sort the complicated remake cases, this paper sorts them by the art forms of their previous version’s classic work. In the analysis form theoretical perspectives, apply to the knowledge of market supply and demand factors and investment risks in economics, the contents of nostalgia and brand effect in psychology, as well as the relevant knowledge in communication. In concluding the principles that the field should pay attention to in the future, summarize the strategies, like to enhance aesthetic value, to appropriate innovation, and to avoid excessive saturation of the market etc. In the above aspects, this paper attempts to be innovation on some level, form certain research results, in order to make a modest contribution to academic field.The prevalence of TV plays’remake, results a complicated and bustle situation of television culture market, so this phenomenon should get a systematic carding and theoretical supports. Following a series of in-depth studies, this paper attempts to make a forecast to the development prospects of the television remake, makes positive recommendations of the healthy development of the television industry, and makes a significant conclusion of remake phenomenon.
