For a long time, the study of Duan Chengshi mainly has concentrated on his literarysketches You-Yang-Za-Zu,of which research direction can be divided into the followingcategories: the first category is that scholars have realized and revealed social formationat that time, Chinese ancient social psychology and culture exchanges through theanalysis of the You-Yang-Za-Zu; the second category is that scholars have discussedYou-Yang-Za-Zu from the version of the colophon and linguistic perspective.DuanChengshi’s social communication has a great influence on both its literary creationmotive and the content of creation. There is a close relationship between Duan Chengshipoems and literary sketches and his communication with friends. Hence it is necessary toanalyze his literature creation through Duan Chengshi’s social communication. Thisarticle has tried to analyze the impact on social communication from Duan Chengshi’literary creation which is valued as the breakthrough point. Most poems of DuanChengshi are associated with his activities with friends, and his articles given as gifts tohis friends have won wide reputation for him, also, the content of his literary sketches"You-Yang-Za-Zu" is influenced by communication of Duan Chengshi with his friends.The point is that Duan Chengshi’s social communication has a great influence on hisliterary creation.The whole article is divided into five parts to study the influence on DuanChengshi’s literary creation which is related with Duan Chengshi’s social activiescondition: the introduction part introduces life experiences of Duan Chengshi brieflyand puts forward Duan Chengshi social activities and his literary creation is closelyrelated to the point of view; The first part, we point out that Duan Chengshi’s wide socialcommunication made his literary creation abundant. The second part, we discuss theinfluence of communication from the perspective of the communication between DuanChengshi and WenTingyun. The personal relationship between Duan Chengshi and WenTingyun is profoundly, they gave each other china ink, paper and Chinese painting brush,hanging and drinking together,the amount of Duan’s creation of poetry compared withall of his poems during the process, holds considerable weight in the quantity, and the quality is the essence. Three sixteen pattern is the similar style of Li Shangyin, WenTingjun and Duan Chengshi showing in poetry and parallel prose. There is the commontendency amongst three authors and each one performs his own characteristics. Thepoetry and parallel prose of Duan Chengshi show its uniqueness in comparison withWenTingyun and LiShangyin, showing the elegant charm of literati, newfangled andlearned allusion and theme which concerned on his own life and mood.Thecommunication between Duan Chengshi and WenTingyun is closely related to theformation of three sixteen’s pattern;the third to the fifth part, we discuss the influence onhis literary creation according to identity three types of people. The three types ofpeople respectively are DuanChengshi’s colleagues and literati, monks and taoist priestand others. On the one hand, literary writing content and writing motivation is closelyassociated with DuanChengshi’ social communication.On the other hand,DuanChengshi’s social communication provided source of story for You-Yang-Za-Zu. DuanChengshi’s social communication and his literary creation are closely related. DuanChengshi’s social circle affects his literary creation style and content: Duan Chengshidisplayed a deep knowledge in their literary creation, the use of allusions is new andwide in his potery,article and literary. The content of You-Yang-Za-Zu is quitecomprehensive.
