| Nowadays is a globalizational and information-based world, and internationalcommunication represents comprehensive national strength of a country.International communication ability also has tremendous effects on politics,economy, culture, and military of a country. China Radio International plays animportant part in China’s international communication affairs. By means ofinternational communication theories and content analysis, this paper takes thaichannel as an example to study advantages and problems in internationalcommunication of China Radio International Online, then tries to find somestrategies of development.There are six parts in this paper. The first part is an instruction, talkingbackground and values, making a summary of domestic and foreign researches,expounding theories and methods in this study, and pointing out innovation of thispaper. The second part explains concepts and functions of internationalcommunication, and characteristic of CRI online. The third part uses method ofanalyzing contents to study thai channel of CRI online, with working out series ofstatistical results. According to the statistical results of analyzing, the fourth partreveals that thai channel of CRI online gives priority to political and society news,and makes good balance between positive and negative reports, home and abroadreports, as well. However, attentions pays to audiences research and ways ofcommunication are not enough. The fifth part proposes the following suggestionsbased on the problems existing in international communication of CRI online. Itneed to not only build international communication brand of CRI online, but alsohire professional journalists in respect of international communication. Besides that,it should focus on studies of audiences and communication effects. It aims to build amodern international communication system of China Radio International. The sixthpart makes a conclusion of this paper, and look far ahead into the future ofinternational communication of China. |
