Distinguishing Between Taiyuan Dialect And Mandarin In Several Vocabulary

Previous studies of Taiyuan dialect is focus on phonetics. Due to few researchers study in vocabulary, my study is based on Taiyuan dialect vocabulary. Mainly reveal the difference of Taiyuan dialect with mandarin vocabulary by comparison with Taiyuan dialect and mandarin. From the comparison, reveal the relationship of Taiyuan dialect and mandarin, or provide some evidence about divie Chinese dialect area, promote mandarin, achieve Chinese standardization.This paper introduces the paper’s researching content, methods, significance, as well as the spots which have been studied and the persons who have provided pronunciation. Then briefly describes the geographical profile and history of Taiyuan, and described Taiyuan dialect speech sound system and vovabulary system. Again, achieve results from suivey of Taiyuan dialect vocabulary, and careful comparative study with Mandarin reveals the differenec. Last, give a bieft summary to the file.
