A Comparative Study On The Differences Between Zhumadian Dialect Vocabulary And Mandarin Vocabulary

Based on the theories of Chinese dialectology,lexical semantics,contrastive linguistics and sociolinguistics,this paper takes the vocabulary of Zhumadian dialect as the research object and obtains a relatively detailed corpus of zhumadian dialect vocabulary through detailed and comprehensive field investigation.Using static description,quantitative statistics,comparative analysis and other research methods,this paper compares the differences between zhumadian dialect vocabulary and Mandarin vocabulary from two perspectives of language and culture,showing the general appearance of zhumadian dialect vocabulary,and enriching the vocabulary corpus of Zhumadian dialect research.The whole text is divided into five parts.First of all,this paper introduces the general situation of Zhumadian and the source of the topic,research methods,purposes and significance of this paper.At the same time,the research status of this topic is summarized and analyzed,and zhumadian dialect phonology,corpus sources and the style of this paper is explained.Secondly,it expounds the word-formation differences between zhumadian dialect words and Mandarin words.From the two aspects of the number of syllables and the morpheme of word-formation,this paper analyzes the different word-formation forms of the same thing and action in Zhumadian dialect and Putonghua.It is found that the number of syllables in Zhumadian dialect does not correspond to the number of syllables in Mandarin,and there are differences in morpheme selection,morpheme order and additional components.Then it discusses the difference between zhumadian dialect words and Mandarin words.Based on the relevant knowledge of modern semantics,this paper investigates the rational meaning,color meaning and grammatical meaning of words.It compares the sememes,the number of sememes,the range of meanings,the difference of color meanings,the combination ability and so on.Then it explores the differences between zhumadian dialect vocabulary and Mandarin vocabulary from the cultural perspective.Language is the carrier of culture,and dialect is the manifestation of regional culture.Based on the actual situation of Zhumadian dialect,this paper mainly studies the differences between the words of Zhumadian dialect and mandarin from the aspects of swear words and food words.Finally,the paper analyzes the influencing factors of the differences between zhumadian dialect vocabulary and Mandarin vocabulary.This paper discusses the causes of the differences between the two languages from the internal and external aspects,including phonology,language inheritance,language cognition,language contact,society and historical geography.
