The use of antonyms embodies the asymmetry using of language, carries on the analysis on form and meaning of antonym markedness, can find the discriminative common standard lexical markers. The opposites "True" and "false" are common in our life, so far that no special study on this group. Based on the markedness theory and cognitive linguistics theory, this thesis select the antonym group "true" and "false" as the research object, from the semantic diachronic development, synchronic semantic distribution perspective of "true" and "false" antonym group/unmarked whether there is existing asymmetric and asymmetric forms or not, and try to use the markedness theory to explain the phenomenon of asymmetry which be found.
