Also, its conjugation“moâ€(莫) fellow are comparatively studied. In order to have more comprehensivein-depth cognition about “Bieshiâ€(别是).From the syntax aspect, syntactic distribution and sentence category distributionof “Bieshiâ€(别是) are discussed. First of all,“Bieshiâ€(别是) has the characteristics offlexibility and can be placed at the beginning of the sentence and in the sentence.Meanwhile, the distribution of “Bieshiâ€(别是) in the object sentence is particularlyinspected. This distribution is believed to be closely related to the decategorization ofPredicate object verb VP1and also the “Bieshiâ€(别是) object clause which has thefunction of the event and commentary; moreover, in a certain locale, deputy languageand direct citation are a manifestation of the subjective of language and anembodiment of “self-performance componentsâ€which left in the speaker’sdiscourse,and they are used in conjunction with predicate object verb and “Bieshiâ€(别是) clause,that which they can manifest the speaker’s subjective perspective andenhance modality tone of the “Bieshiâ€(别是) object sentence. In addition,“Bieshiâ€(别是) are mainly distributed in the interrogative, declarative sentences, a few cases, inexclamatory.Semantic characteristic of “Bieshiâ€(别是) has been analysised from three aspects:semantic features, semantic background and semantic scope. Thus, semantic featuresof “Bieshiâ€(别是) can be encapsulated by its naturalness, ancillary,composability.The four types of semantic background mode are constructed, whether the location of“Bieshiâ€(别是) at the beginning of sentence or in the sentence, the entire propositionshould be at its semantic scope.“Bieshiâ€(别是)have rich pragmatic functions mainly reflected in three aspects:the modal function, interpersonal function and chapter cohesive function. Modalfunction is displayed in three respects: negative expression, conveying tactfully, to getto the bottom of modality. Interpersonal function is mainly reflected in two parts:marking speculative question and mitigation of language situation. Cohesive Functiondiscourse is manifested in the coordinate semantic and causal semantic relations between proceding and following paragraphs.“Bieshiâ€(别是)lexicalization is a relatively recent phenomenon in the history ofChinese in the Qing Dynasty. According to the theory of lexical patterns,“Bieshiâ€(别是)is produced by productive adverbs in the impact of Modern Chinese lexical mode“Fshiâ€(F是).The suffix “shiâ€(是)attached to the adverb root “bieâ€(别) constitutes apost-attached type compound words. Combined with the previous research, this articletries to put forward the fact that “shiâ€(是) is the criteria of the suffix on three:(1) theF represents the semantic meaning category and grammatical category;(2)“shiâ€(是)in the “Fshi (是)†can not be discomposed into words without any substantial meaning,the location is fixed, closely attached to the root F, constituting an additionalcompound adverbs;(3)“shiâ€(是) can be postattached to different roots F, formingadverb, and can have a strong formation capability of words, and the words formed inthis way can be more than ten.In view of comparatively studied perspective of synchronic conjugation, it issummed up that the follow-up characteristics of “bieâ€(别) fellow and “moâ€(莫) fellow,and the differences when those follow-up characteristics co-occur with other tonecomposition and adverbs. | Keywords/Search Tags: | grammar study, modality adverb “Bieshiâ€(别是), syntactic features, semantic analysis, pragmatic functions | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
