Analysis Of The Needs Of The Chinese Language Students At Kazan Federal University

Since the seventies of the last century, the analysis of the needs of students hasbeen considered the key factor in teaching foreign languages. Needs analysisprovides students with the impetus for learning the language and also helps tocontinue studies with tenacity.A thorough understanding of the academic needs of the Chinese languagestudents will not only help them to better assimilate the Chinese language, but alsowill provide teachers with the opportunity to ensure the basis for the developmentof the Chinese language training programs, to meet the needs of students to the fullextent and improve the quality of teaching on the basis of the analysis of individualstudents needs that which promotes development of teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage.This study aims to better understand and analyze the needs of the Chineselanguage students at Russian Universities. The generalizations made in the course ofthe research can be used by the Chinese language teachers in teaching Russianstudents in China and will also provide teachers with the information on the correctchoice of teaching strategies and textbooks. The main method of this study is survey while the Chinese language students atKFU serve the object for the survey. This work consists of four chapters.The first chapter is Introduction. This chapter discusses the object of our study,provides a brief overview of the previous research devoted to this theme, it revealsthe importance of this work, methods of research and scientific innovation.The second chapter deals with the theoretical framework for the analysis ofneeds. This chapter describes the basic concepts of needs analysis, fundamentalneeds, and the role of needs analysis.The third chapter describes the analysis of the needs of the Chinese languagestudents at KFU. The chapter also contains an overview of the methods of analysiswith the subsequent analyzes of the needs of students at KFU.The fourth chapter is the Conclusion. It contains the main conclusions.
