Mengzi was the major representative of Confucianism.after Kongzi. He was anexcellent thinker. He showed the outstanding eloquent ability. In the great socialchanges, where there were lots of school thoughts contended, he had deep argumentswith different kinds of heresies to defend Confucianism. Mengzi was thegrand synthesis of his practical art of argumentation. We can see his noble spirit whichshowed intense feelings and words from his passionate and direct language feature,sufficient and different eloquent skills or even the logic. This article is based on thepractical art of argumentation in Mengzi to search for the argument feature, the deepreasons of loving to argue and changing easily and the far-reaching impact on futuregeneration made by it. And we can know more about what kind of person he is or thestyle of his books.
