Comparative Study Of "v(?)i" In Vietnamese And Corresponding Expression In Chinese

Based on studies of predecessors and research direction of Chinese foreign relation, thisthesis conducts a comparison of "v(?)i" in Vietnamese and corresponding expression inChinese; describes the similarities and differences between them in terms of meaning andtranslation, then summarizes and creates a corresponding comparison table between the twolanguages. As a conclusion, in term of translation: in different cases, the transition between"v(?)i" in Vietnamese and corresponding expression in Chinese can be translated or isn’tnessesary to be translated. In term of meaning: form of expression "v(?)i’ in Vietnamese isbasically similar to the corresponding expression in Chinese; the difference is that the word"v(?)i" in Vietnamese expresses the meaning "with something", in Chinese it seems to have nocorresponding expression.This thesis includes the following three main parts:1.
