Objcctive: To comprehend the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea and the correlatedfactors, Questionnaire was conducted to investigate and analyse dysmenorrhea of 323female college syudents. We studied the the relations between serumβ-EP, genitalhormones and dysmenorrhea, and analyzed the change marker of pretreatment andpost-treatment with, in order to explore the relations between dysmenorrhea, analgesiasubstance and genital hormones. We made some helpful research for syndrome ofdysmenorrheal and provided a simple and efficient method. Methods: 1. questionnaire of dysmenorrhea: 258 pieases of questionnaires wereconducted to investigate. About 232 pieases of questionnaire were collected.2. research of patients between 20 to 28 years old were selected with the standards ofdysmenorrheal, the average is 23.07±1.94, sanyinjiao(SP6), zusanli(ST36)were mainpoints. Three times a week. Every time lasts 30min. It will last three months. In the secondmorning of the menstrual cycle, 4.5ml blood was draw from cubital vein in the patientswith dysmenorrheal, then preserved the it in the refrigerator, below -70℃, prepared formeasurement. The methods of collecting blood, collecting time and preserving were sameas before. Radioimmunoassay was used to assay the level of FSH (follicle stimulatinghormone), LH (luteinizing hormone), E2 (estradilo), P (progesterone), T (testosterone) andβ-EP (β-endogenous opioid peptides) in serum. The control group was consisted of 27normal female (normal group). Compared with the patient group, those were no significantdifferences. The methods of collecting blood, collecting time and preserving were same asprevious. Results: 1. Research of dysmenorrhea: about 79.74%of 232 have dysmenorrheal. From times, we can see the rate of 4 years couse is 56.76%. Pains of most patientshappened in the couse of disease. 60%pains of patients last one day. Environment is themain factor. But 34.06%patients have no factor. About 96.77%of patients have somedifferents syndromes, such as pain in back, weakness. Most patients have premenstrualsyndrome.2. Results of clinic: (1)Comparison of normal group and subject group: The level of serum FSH, LH and P were lower in subject group than in normal group (P<0.01); Thelevel of serum E2 was higher in subject group than in normal group (P<0.01). The level ofserum T was lower in subject group than in normal group, but there were no significantdifferences between the two groups. In normal group, subject group and post-treatmentgroup have no significant differences. Compared normal group, the level of serumβ-EP inpatients of control decreased significantly (P<0.01). (2)Comparison of pretreatment andpost-treatment in subject group: After treated, the level of serum FSH, LH, P and Tincreased (P<0.01). The level of serum E2 decreased in post-treatment comparison withpretreatment (P<0.01). The content of serumβ-EP was higher in post-treatment than inpretreatment (P<0.05). There was a negative linear correlation between serumβ-EP andpain score in patients with cold syndrome (P<0.05). (3)After treated, the syndrome ofsubject group was decreased from 9.02±1.90 to 26±2.15. The total effective rates of thetreatment group is 80.00%, with recovered 3 cases, 2 cases seen effective, 15cases utilitied,5cases ineffectived. Conclusions: We can drown frome the research table the percentage rate ofdysmenorrhea among female college students is very high. After treated, syndrome ofdysmenorrheal in subject group had improved excess cold of emmeniopathy results, whichshown acupuncture has good curative effect on treating primary dysmenorrheal.Dysmenorrheal closed relation between analgesia substance and genital hormones.Acupuncture can improve patients’ body, decrease algogenic substance by adjusting thesystem of neuroendocrine and immune. It is a good mothed for patients.
