Clinical And Experimental Research On The Protective Effect Of The Yiqi-Huoxue Formula To The Gastric Mucosa

Objective: To Research the protective effect of the Yiqi-huoxue Formula to the gastricmucosa and the influence of it to secretion of prostaglandin E₂（PGE₂）, gastrin（GAS）,cholecystokinin（CCK） and epidermal growth factor（EGF）. From which,the potentialprincipal of the Yiqi-huoxue Formula in gastric acid secretion, raising gastric mucosa bloodflow, coordinating the motion of the gastrointestinal tract and recovery of the gastricmucosa’s endepidermis after being damaged.Methods: To heal the patients who are troubled with peptic ulcer and HP with theYiqi-huoxue Formula and the Trigeminy（Omeprazole, Clarithromycin,Amoxicillin）.Another method is healing them with the Trigeminy only.From follow-up visit,endoscope examination and detection of PGE₂,GAS,CCK and EGF before and aftertreatment, the principal of the Yiqi-huoxue Formula to improve Quality of Ulcer Healingcan be discovered.During the lab work, the albino rats are fed with the most,the more andthe less of the dosage of the Yiqi-huoxue Formula and another are fed withMisoprostol.Then feed rats with 1 ml dehydrated alcohol. The last temp is measuring theulcer index of rat’s gastric mucosas.Results: First,the Yiqi-huoxue Formula-Trigeminy is as well as effective in symptomsimproving, concrescence of the gastric mucosa in endoscope and is more effective in thesecretion of PGE₂ and CCK （P＜0.05）.Second,the experimentation with rats manifestscontribution of the most and the more of the Yiqi-huoxue Formula can protect the gastricmucosa as well as Misoprostol does.Conclusion: The Yiqi-huoxue Formula can protect the gastric mucosa fromharmfulness,which function is related to advance the secretion PGE₂ and CCK and toadjust GAS and EGF.
