Objective: This topic chosen electro-acupuncture treatment ofprimary osteoporosis,bone metabolism was measured using indicators(osteocalcin, β-collagen special sequence) and dual-energyX-ray absorptiometry method (DXA) and other means to comparepatients with POP changes in bone metabolism and bone mineraldensity before and after treatment, to explore the mechanism forelectric POP,and provide the basis for clinicalelectro-acupuncture treatment POP.Methods: The patients were enrolled in strict accordance with theinclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, select from March2012to January2013,50cases of patients with primary osteoporosis inSeptember,both from Wuhan City Hospital Integrative MedicineAcupuncture. Using simple random method, divided into treatmentgroup (EA), the control group (western medicine group). Thetreatment group received acupuncture medicine acupuncture combinedmethod using electro-acupuncture treatment every other day, amonth for a course of treatment three courses. The control groupreceived only western alfacalcidol medications, daily0.5μg,once a day, and even served three months after the assessment ofefficacy. All patients enrolled were first registered before thebasic situation, press the corresponding clinical symptoms score, and then measure the biochemical parameters were measured inpatients and bone mineral density. Patients were enrolled in thesystem to go through treatment three months. After three treatments,clinical symptom score again and efficacy evaluation, and reviewof bone density and biochemical markers, and SPSSl9.0statisticalsoftware for statistical analysis and comparison of two groups ofpatients evaluated the effect of clinical symptoms improved,osteocalcin, β-specific sequence changes in collagen and bonedensity improvement.Results:1、After three courses, clinical treatment group, the totaleffective rate was88.5%in the control group, the total efficiencyof72%between the two groups P <O.05, the clinical efficacy ofacupuncture treatment of primary osteoporosis was significantlybetter than western medicine control group, the difference wasstatistically significant;2、Treatment groups in terms of clinical efficacy in patients withprimary osteoporosis, the role than the control group; pain scoreswere significantly reduced the value of the former two groups ofpatients after treatment than before treatment, the difference wasstatistically significant (P <O.05); treatment group and thecontrol group, the treatment group pain scores than the controlgroup (P <O.05);3、Comparison of bone metabolism: the two groups can be increasedosteocalcin levels, electro-acupuncture treatment group whileincreasing osteocalcin levels were significantly better thanwestern medicine control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <O.05); through after treatment, β-collagenlevels were lowered particular sequence, the efficacy ofacupuncture treatment group was significantly better than westernmedicine control group, the difference was statisticallysignificant (P <O.05);4、After treatment have increased bone mineral density comparedwith the previous, but both the rate of increase is not obvious,was not statistically significant; safety of the two groups werequite, no serious adverse reactions.Conclusion:1、Through treatment, the results of statistical analysis,electro-acupuncture acupuncture treatment of primary osteoporosisefficacy, can significantly reduce the number of patients withclinical symptoms P0P bone pain, muscle weakness, increased bonedensity in patients perhaps in time this should be monitored longer.This treatment method is simple, easy to operate, safe andeconomical, fewer side effects, worthy of clinical applicationand promotion.2、Two different factors that can increase the body ’s handling ofosteocalcin levels in patients, but it ’s better than the EA groupcomparison group; two processing elements to treat osteoporosisby affecting the levels of osteocalcin in vivo.3、Two different processing factors can reduce the body β-collagen levels in patients with specific sequences, but EA groupof more than comparison group; two processing elements to treatthe condition by affecting bone collagen in vivo β-level specialsequenceosteoporosis. 4、After treatment have increased bone mineral density than before,but both the rate of increase is not obvious, was not statisticallysignificant; For BMD monitoring period should be longer, at leastsix months or more.
